About Us

Pandemic Publications is a new multidisciplinary arts platform. Our aim is to provide honorariums to artists during times of financial crisis (like right now), while showcasing original content by a diverse array of talented individuals. We publish works in the categories of poetry, prose, and visual arts, on our website and social media platforms.

We love the whole range of human emotion. Give us your weirdness, your boredom, your heartbreak, your joy, your rage.

While we accept submissions from any artist, we actively encourage submissions by individuals from economically marginalized communities, both to amplify their voices and message, and to direct critical funding to where it is needed most.

Pandemic Publications is online only. Learn more about our submission guidelines here.

Who we are.

We are a small volunteer-run organization. Very small. There’s two of us.

We are Hilary Angus and Luke Kokoszka: writers, readers, and consumers of media who have been lurking around the sidelines of the arts community for a while now, and are just trying to do a good thing for a community we love.

At this time, we don’t have any opportunities for volunteering unless we know you personally, because we don’t have the bandwidth for anything other than nepotism. Sorry! Hopefully this changes. Please check back.
